Custom-coded websites built with Astro — static by default, very little JavaScript, and a strong technical SEO foundation for content-focused sites.
Astro is a modern web framework that renders pages to plain HTML ahead of time and only ships JavaScript to the parts of a page that need it. That makes it particularly useful for content-focused and performance-conscious websites: portfolios, service businesses, marketing sites and documentation.
A custom Astro site is coded rather than assembled from a page builder, so the design is not limited by a theme and the pages stay light. It suits owners who value speed and design control and are happy to request content changes, or to edit structured content files.
Colours, type, spacing and components defined once and reused everywhere.
Pages render to HTML at build time; JavaScript only where interaction needs it.
Metadata, structured data, sitemap, robots rules and clean URLs built in.
Hosted on a static platform such as Cloudflare Pages or Netlify, with your own domain.
WordPress builds pages on the server each time (unless cached) and is edited in a dashboard. Astro builds pages once into static files, which are fast to serve and have fewer moving parts. WordPress is easier for frequent self-editing; Astro is better when speed and design control matter most.
Yes. Content can live in simple data or Markdown files, or be connected to a headless CMS if you want a dashboard.
Static hosts such as Cloudflare Pages, Netlify or Vercel. Many offer generous free tiers for small business sites.
Let's discuss your goals and build a digital solution that fits your business.
